An activity and support club for our older patrons
We have been meeting on Thursdays since 1997 and the Dine Out project was introduced late 1999. Recently the elderly have lunch also on Wednesdays. In October 2002 we have transport provided by Ring-a-Link on Thursdays to bring members to the Resource Centre and take them home again. In the afternoon members engage in activities and some of the members participate in Computer training.
In December 2001 we received a grant of £700 from the Health Board under Section 65, and this has enabled us to undertake more outings.
